Have you ever tried to untangle chains?

I have. And I think I’m doing fairly well until I hit a knot. Have you ever tried to untangle a knot from a delicate fragile chain? It’s maddening for me. Then I’m ready to pitch all the chains, but some have more sentimental value. I recently related this word picture to some relational struggle I am experiencing. From my end there has been so much confusion over a sensitive issue. I’ve tried to explain myself in several different ways but I’ve run into “knots.”  Then I stop, try to untangle some more & run into another knot.   When this happens with my chains I give it to Paul who has way more patience than me & special tools available.  In my current relational “tangles”, I realize I can’t be the one to untangle the knots.  Not only do I need more patience I realize I need to give this treasured jewel (special relationship) to God.  He has the patience & perspective I can’t see & the heart to give it the beauty it could have once its repaired.
